Is there anything I can’t bring on the boat?

For safety and comfort, we ask that you refrain from bringing large coolers, excessive alcohol and illegal substances. Weapons and pets are not allowed on board. If you’re unsure about something, feel free to reach out, and we’ll let you know if it’s okay to bring!

Oh, we almost forgot….we kindly ask that you leave bananas at home. According to tradition, bananas are considered bad luck on fishing trips, with stories dating back to the early days of sailing. Some say bananas are believed to cause poor catches because they would spoil quickly on long voyages, attracting pests or fermenting, which would spoil the ships provisions. Others believe that bananas somehow interfere with the energy of the boat, leading to unsuccessful trips. While it’s all in good fun, we’d like to keep the tradition alive and ask you to avoid bringing them on board!
